Forgotten useful tips

As I was folding and putting away the laundry yesterday I ended up with several used bounce sheets to be thrown away. On my way to the trash can I remembered that a used bounce sheet shines crome pretty nicely. So I headed to the kitchen sink and shined my faucet before depositing the used bounce sheet into the trash can. If you haven't tried it you should!
There are so many uses for even the smallest thing. I would love to know what tips you have found useful. If you have one post it here!

Dryer sheets are also good for rubbing on hair to get rid of static. One of my favorite tips I picked up along the way is: to get crayon out of fabric, clean with rubbing alcohol. I have a little one who loves to color on anything and everything and this has saved countless pieces of clothing, furniture, and stuffed animals.

My favorite way to keep things clean is to make the kids play outside ;) When we were doing our home inspection, our inspector told us that there are three types of damage that happens in homes:
1. water
2. pests (termites, etc.)
3. children
Said with a completely straight face.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to remember that, my chrome and rest of the house is looking 'pretty lived in'.

Dryer sheets are also perfect for removing glitter from your paper after you use heat and stick powder!!

Nice tip, Tiff! I'm totally going to use that one when I clean my kitchen today (or tomorrow).

I keep a used dryer sheet in the bottom of the hamper. I don't use a new one because then the smell is too strong but a used one is perfect.
