Samuel is 5 Months

Well today our little Samuel is 5 mo. It makes me sad to see him growing so fast! We took him to his check up and realized why mom's back is always hurting. He went from being 11 lbs. at 3 mo. to 16 lbs. 10 oz. I guess he is making up for lost time. He doesn't seem to really eat all that much. His schedule is pretty nice actually. He usually wakes around 4-6 for a morning feeding. This is really not a big deal since I usually take him to bed with me and fall asleep feeding him. Around 9 (if no one pounces on him in my bed) he wakes. Around noon he is ready for a nap. If I am lucky I take him to my bed again and he eats and we go to sleep till 2 or 3. Again his sleeping time totally depends on Gideon. If Gid is busy the baby sleeps longer, especially if we can manage to hide the baby and if we don't have to pick Faith up from school Samuel can manage to sleep till 5. If he sleeps that late he is good to go till about 9. If he wakes earlier he will take a nap around 8 and will wake up shortly after and be good to go till midnight or later. Not fun for a tired mom! All day long Samuel is a happy baby. He coos at us and loves to watch his brothers and sisters run around. They can be very entertaining. He is almost sitting up on his own and we are looking forward to him rolling soon!
